THE 7th XPOSED INTERNATIONAL QUEER FILM FESTIVAL
OPENS CALL FOR ENTRIES!
From around the globe to our X Spot that has landed on The Middle East
Every year XPOSED marks a giant X on a land and exposes Queer Lives and Stories from this land. Our past focuses have been on Queer Films from Australia, Canada, South Korea, Turkey, Germany and most recently Spain. This year, we are tackling a much harder area, The Middle East. Where being ‘Queer’ does not exist.
For our 7th XPOSED, we plan to show that being Queer does exist in the Middle East and how they exist, how they live and the darkness in which they must hide under to stay alive. So, to all filmmakers who originate from the Middle East, that have made films about being Queer in the Middle East – We Want Your Films!
With our focus this year, we are also making some changes to the festival, in order to grow and really expand our X, we are opening the festival up to Feature Film Entries as well. Happening in June over 3 days, The XPOSED International Queer Film Festival is setting out to bring a very bright light to Berlin during Pride Week.
The Festival will also follow on from last years extra programs and will showcase a program of Queer Short Films from Germany and a program of Queer Short Films from The Rest of the Globe! So Please, feel free to send in your films! There is no Entry Fee and all films will be eligible for the LOLLY AWARDS that was introduced at the Festival Last Year!
To receive an entry form please visit our submission page or email xposed[at]fullyflared.com
