Anne Phelan as JOY

Anne Phelan is an extremely well known scene in the Australian stage and screen drama world as well as a tireless activist for social justice causes. Anne’s stage credits are too numerous to mention, and include Sweeney Todd for the Queensland Theatre Company, Romeo and Juliet for the Melbourne Theatre Company and Diving for Pearls for the State Theatre Company of South Australia. Anne is an actor of nation wide recognition and experience


Nicholas Cannon as BORGE

Since graduating from the Music Theatre degree at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Nicholas has performed in Die Fledermous as Frank/Frosch with Co-Opera touring regional Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, Carousel with the Production Company, Sunday in the Park with George with the State Opera of SA, and his own Cabaret: Warm Soupy Heart which includes some original songs. Roles at WAAPA include Burrs in the Australian premier of Lippa’s The Wild Party, the Constable in Fiddler on the Roof, a soloist in Perfectly Frank directed by Nancy Hayes, Manjiro in Sondheim’s Pacific Overtures and John Proctor in a workshop of The Crucible.

John O'Hara as ALAN

John graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2001. Most recently he performed in Eureka for Essgee Entertainment and High Society with The Production Company. Also since graduating from WAAPA he has performed in Shout with The Really Useful Company and Hair in Melbourne and Sydney for Maks Entertainment and The Production Company.


Rod Waterworth as SAL

Rod has trained in all facets of theatre. His credits include Cats, Anything Goes, Wizard of Oz, 42nd Street, Me and My Girl, Pirates of Penzance, Crazy for You, Jolson, Annie, Singin’ in the Rain and many shows for The Production Company. Rod’s gorgeous alter ego, “Laura Gravity” has been entertaining around Melbourne’s gay scene for the past few years. This glamorous showgirl is currently part of The Classics at The Greyhound Hotel and Barnyard to Broadway at Diva Bar.

Shireen Morris as
PRINCESS & SALOME
After completing her postgraduate training at East 15 Acting School in London, Shireen spent the last two years working professionally in the UK. Roles included Ayah in “The Secret Garden” with the Byre Theatre in St. Andrews, Scotland, Princess Yasmin in “Aladdin” with the Lawrence Batley Theatre and Mirielle in “Espresso Trasho”, a new musical at the Arts Theatre in the West End. She was also a lead vocalist in pop group concerts at Wembley Exhibition Centre with Cancer Research UK, and has toured with several theatre in education shows. Now back home in Australia, Shireen is also continuing to write and record original music with pop duo, “shush”.



Steven Browning as SENATOR SANG FROID


Stevens life long dream was to be involved in theatre, when he moved to Byron Bay. he styled the stars for all the local theatre productions at his hairdressing salon, ‘Mullum Madness’. This led to him crossing the divide, training as an actor and performing. Whilst in Byron Bay,his theatre performances included;’Jesus Christ Super Star’ ‘Romeo & Juliet’,’A Respectable Wedding’,’The Marriage of Bette & Boo’ and ‘Metamorphosis’. He moved to Melbourne in 2002 and performed in ‘Bloomsday in Melbourne’2002 & 2003. He also had numerous roles in the world stage premier of ‘Priscilla,Queen of the Desert’. As well as playing Richard in Brechts’ ‘The Lover’ for Full House, this year Steven made his directorial debut with ‘Kiss Me Kate’ for an amateur theatre company and also had the lead. His film experience includes ‘One Perfect Day’ and the Korean film ‘Sorry I Love You’.
